All the major brands, with a single objective: to find the appliance that’s right for you.

For nearly 15 years, we’ve been seeing patients disappointed by appliances that don’t suit them.
The problem isn’t the appliance: there are no bad appliances, only unsuitable choices.

It’s the audioprosthetist’s job to guide you towards the right instrument. But many only work with 1 or 2 brands. And no brand is suitable for 100% of patients.

Each ear has its own signature and each has its own preferences: some like a dynamic, direct sound, others a soft, natural rendering.

At Audio Clinic, we’re free to work with any brand : Phonak, Oticon, ReSound, Widex, Signia, Starkey, Unitron, Bernafon, etc.

That means one simple thing: we’ll always recommend the best one for you. Because your hearing comes first!

  • Intelligent, natural listening

Thanks to its AI and neural network, Oticon analyzes sounds just as your brain would. Its motion sensors automatically adjust listening, whether you’re sitting, walking or in a meeting.
With Oticon, you’ll enjoy a more natural, softer and clearer sound, for smooth, effortless listening in all circumstances.

  • Swiss performance and connectivity

Phonak is ideal if you like precision and technology. It offers seamless connectivity with your smartphone, TV and everyday devices. Its intelligent, ultra-precise settings automatically adapt to every situation to ensure clear sound at all times.
With Phonak, you stay connected to your loved ones and your leisure activities, with consistent, reliable listening performance.

  • American innovation and maximum discretion

Starkey is renowned for its comfortable, high-performance in-ear devices. With its artificial intelligence and the Edge range, equipped with the best noise reducer on the market, listening remains clear even in the most difficult environments.
With Starkey, you benefit from a discreet device and optimal understanding, even in noise.

  • Musicians’ favorite sound

Widex is renowned for offering the most natural and faithful sound reproduction on the market. It is the preferred brand of music lovers and musicians, because it respects the fine nuances of music and voices. If pure sound quality is your priority, Widex is one of the best choices.

  • Compact innovation and anti-noise power

With the latest Vivia model, ReSound offers one of the smallest IA hearing aids on the market, comfortable to wear all day long thanks to its extended battery life. Thanks to a dual chip, including one dedicated exclusively to noise management, you can enjoy clear, natural sound, discreet comfort and effortless listening, even in the noisiest environments.

  • Performance and German design

Signia stands out for its aesthetically pleasing models, some of which are virtually invisible, and solid noise-reduction technology. It appeals to patients who want a high-performance device that’s also discreet and elegant. It’s a balanced choice between efficiency and style.

  • Swiss rigor at a competitive price

Bernafon offers reliable, effective devices designed to improve understanding in noise, without marketing gimmicks. Less well known to the general public, it offers good value for money for patients who prefer simplicity and performance.

  • Flexibility first and foremost

Unitron doesn’t have the name recognition of Phonak or Oticon, but its great strength is flexibility: its devices can be upgraded to a higher range without having to change. It’s a brand for patients who want to start simply, then upgrade their solution as their needs evolve.

FAQ – How to choose your hearing aid brand?

There’s no one best brand for everyone. Every ear and brain reacts differently to sound. Our role is to have you try out several brands and fine-tune them with in-vivo measurements to find the one that really suits you.

Sound rendering (softer or more direct), noise management, discretion/format, connectivity and application ergonomics. We help you compare on your own ears, in situations close to your everyday life.

Yes, globally. The market is dominated by a few international players who have been investing considerable resources in R&D for years, resulting in similar levels of performance. The real difference lies in sound signature and comfort, so we have you try out several options and validate them with in-vivo measurements, so that we can keep the one that suits you best.

Starkey remains the benchmark for highly invisible ITEs (IIC/CIC). But Oticon Own and Phonak Virto have made great strides and now offer solutions that are just as discreet.
Depending on your type of loss and the shape of the canal, a very compact IIC (Signia / ReSound / Widex) can be just as visually discreet, with sometimes more versatility. We try them both out in the cabin, and decide which is the most invisible and comfortable for you.

Several brands excel, depending on the profile. Starkey, Phonak, Oticon and Resound all excel in this area.

Widex is often the favorite of musicians and music lovers for its very natural sound. That said, depending on your ears and practice, other brands may be suitable. What’s essential for a pro is fine control of the gain curve and compression ratios, with specific “music” settings. We work with very demanding professional musicians, who are satisfied with our in-cab adjustments (in-vivo measurements and reference listening).

Most brands connect to recent iPhones and Android devices. Depending on the exact model, we check call/streaming compatibility and set up the application with you.

Rechargeable = practical for everyday use. Batteries = very long autonomy and sometimes more discreet format. Choose according to your eyesight, dexterity and habits.

No. Prices vary mainly according to range/technology and included services, not according to brand. If a brand suits you better, it doesn’t mean you pay more: for the same range, our pricing is identical regardless of the brand. At Audio Clinic, our prices are up to 25% lower than the major brands, including adjustments and follow-up. Our aim: to choose by ear, not by brand price.

Reimbursement depends mainly on your rights/medical conditions, not on the brand. We explain the process clearly and take care of the paperwork.

We readjust, try another brand if necessary, and accompany you until you’re really comfortable. And that’s precisely the point of a multi-brand trial.

Yes, we take over the adjustment, maintenance and advice, even if your hearing instruments come from another company. The aim is to help you hear better, period.

5-year warranty on our appliances. Adjustments, checks and maintenance are included, and we continue to support you after these 5 years. You’re never alone with your hearing aid.
