How do you go about creating a custom device?

First, you take a free hearing test, then we make an impression of your ear. The device is made from your impression (a few days), then you start a 1-month trial with in-vivo adjustments until listening really suits you.

No. It’s quick (≈ 5 min) and painless. We use a medical material or a CT scan depending on the case. If there’s any discomfort (earwax plug, irritation), we’ll reschedule after treatment for your comfort.

A few days, depending on the manufacturer and complexity (often 5-10 days). We’ll let you know as soon as the device is ready for ear placement and initial adjustments.

While custom-made (in-the-ear, CIC/IIC) is ideal for comfort and discretion, depending on your type of loss, your anatomy and your expectations, a discreet IIC may sometimes be more appropriate. We’re independent: we choose the best option for you, not for a brand.

It sits right in the ear canal, leaving the pinna to do its job. The result: more faithful sound and clearer vocals. The in-vivo settings are then fine-tuned to your living environment.

We measure what actually happens to your eardrum while you’re wearing the device. This enables precise settings, focused on speech understanding and comfort, rather than “theoretical” values.

Thanks to our independence, our prices are up to 25% lower. Appliances are reimbursed (see our INAMI reimbursement page). 5-year warranty including service, adjustment and maintenance – and we’ll continue to look after you after 5 years.

We show you what to do (quick cleaning, filters). We offer regular check-ups, and remain available if you feel a drop in comfort or a change in listening style.

We readjust the settings. If the ear changes a lot, or your needs evolve, we can take another impression and adapt the solution – always with your comfort and understanding in mind.
